I am spraying a 150 shot with a stock converter in my A4 TA. I have the window switch set to come on a 3500. With a stock converter it takes a little while to get to 3500. What is the lowest setting that I can safely set the window switch at.

Need a little more boost earlier

 

3000 RPM is about as low as i'd recommend. I've got my 1st dry shot coming on @ 3000.

Don't want to blow my motor, however, I do need it to kick in a little earlier. A few hundred rpms earlier would help out a lot.

 

I dont think too many ppl are going to recommend to activate it earlier than 3000 rpms. I have shot mine at 2500rpms, under my own decision and it hits pretty ******* hard, to hard actually. I imagine the torque spike on that low an rpm would be well over what it is at 3000 or higher. Torque is what is blowing the trans, rearends, etc..

 

deffinatly won't go any lower than 3k. probably about 3100...........That will help a good bit

 

If you want to get some Boost little ealiear why not go with a DUAL stage?
