Default What System to buy?

I want to put nitrous on my car do I get wet or dry and should I get 150shot and how will my car stand up to this or am i better to go with 100 or can I get a adjustable system to do both? Are there any other extras I should buy eg purge valve etc?

try searching, this is one of those topics that there is a ton on.

I say 150 Wet with upgraded fuel pump, NGK TR6 Plugs gapped .035-.038, and a window switch. Car will stand up fine as long as you have the fuel supply fot it and the cold plugs.

Brad summed it up preety good!.
A search will also help as this topic has been brought up a bunch of times. We feel this is the best kit for the price on the market. http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=115
Window Switch
http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=194
Other may be priced less but the quality and completeness of our kit cannot be matched.

this topic has been killed over and over again. it usually turns into a my kit is better they your kit, bla, bla, bla.i called nx and t.n.t and talked to both co's on the phone. after i did that i decided for me the t.n.t kit was the way to go. i'm real happy i went with t.n.t and a few of my buds saw my luck at the track and they went with t.n.t also. so...do some searching, talk with the people who make them, stay away from the my kit is better then your's and choose your product. goodluck to ya.

There aint no more of those this kit vs that kit **** going on in here...not no more. State what you got and why thats that.

Its all been said, search and read. However one point avoided, can you get an "adjustable" system to run a 100 or 150. The kits as sold are adjustable by using a small brass, or SS jet, or "pill", each pill has a certain size hole drilled thru it, represented by a number, like 54, or 23, you have a jet chart that shows what size N jet to use with what size F jet to net desired shot size. Most kits sold from our sponsors include jets up to 150 shot and more can be had by simply ordering them up ( I do not recommend drilling jets, unless you know WTF your doing and know the risks). As well, if you got hi tech and ran a progressive controller with all the goodies, you could pill your system for 200 shot, and use the controller to start at XX and finish at XXX size over XX amount of time, or basically have jets in it to run 200, but when you first start spraying you only hit it with 50shot, then over the next 1.5seconds you "ramp" it up to 150shot where it maxes out. Reprogram and next run you can go from 75 start to a 1sec ramp rate, final of 175. Its a little bit of calculating by percentages but nothing hard.

I understand what you are saying and I agree 100%...

But you would come off as a much better and more intelligent/professional moderator if you did not use words like 'aint' and profanity like '****'.

I am NOT goofing on you, I am just trying to help you out because you will likely be a mod here for some time and you should sound like a 'PRO' around here IMHO.

You can help us out without using words like 'aint' and '****'.

Spellcheck POLICE...

You have likely 'forgot' more about the N2o than I have ever learned, But if you are going to be a MOD around here, You ought to sound like one IMO. All of us here tend to look up to the MOD's ... Set us ALL a good example!

P.S. I really appreciate all of the time you give around here helping us ALL out, and your advice and knowledge is awesome to say the least... But now you are a 'Moderator' and you need to come across as one IMO...

I'm listening, and heard you loud and clear. Guess my short fused military approach kicks in too much sometimes. Good point though.

BigDaddyZ28- Don't be too hard on him, CAT3 has been known to hook up a mask to his nitrous bottle and take some hits off it. Followed with a side dish of paint huffing, and when he get that juice in his system he goes off!

CAT3- Rememeber the 12 steps man, call your buddy or count to 10! j/k

Peace,
Craig.

You got me though and in all respect I can man up and say it. Good catch.

Yea I pretty much quit posting my valuable opinions on NX because NitrousDirect started busting my ***** at every post. It became pointless rhetoric. I still say contact some one like Matt at Harris, Dean at Dyno Tune or one of the crew at Nitro Daves...or someone else who sponsors here. I went from a simple Zex set up to a pretty sophisticated NX system. I'll be doing more with NX not even so much because its so much better of a system (but it is nice) but because of the availability of support. I tend to need that sort of thing.

Well said Macon, I mean TBB! Maybe some day I will go to one brand of parts, or an actual "kit"/"system", but for now I am too happy running with what little bit I've got into this setup, and it has proven itself to work
