It's pretty easy. Pull your radio out and stick your hand back behind the vents. There isn't anything at all there. Pop your vents out and get a drill bit and drill through the back of the a/c duct. Run your wires and such through the hole. If you need more detail let me know!!

Poping out the guages, after the first one, is easy. Put the fins going sides ways and then grab the middle brace (running up and down) with your fingers at the top and pull down a little bit, you can kinda see the clip back there, but take a screwdriver or something flat, stick in the little space you made by pulling it down and just pop out the outside cover. The vents are 2 different pieces, that gets the first piece out, the second piece you can see the clips on it, pop them out with a screwdriver as well.

Kind of funny what I used for the piece around the guages, I wanted a strong piece of black pastic, what I found, was a $1.50 thick black spatual (sp) from walmart, cut out a circle and it worked great! If anything is unclear let me know, I'll get a little more detailed! Thanks for looking!

Just curious if any of you guys doing this have had an obvious difference in the level a/c cooling?

I am thinking about doing this and putting one Interceptor in the far left vent or the vent on the drivers side and leaving the rest open..

However, I don't want to lose the a/c abilities..

Now, do I put it in the driver side, or one of the center vents..

Damn the 2 1/16 gauges are definitely a hell of alot smaller than the 2 5/8. I have a 2 5/8 fuel pressure gauge in the driver vent. I guess I'll buy a 2 5/8 oil pressure gauge and a 2 1/16 wideband and rig it up to fit in the vents like you did.

Nice work!
