Default Nitrous Help

Hey guys need some help do i have to retard the ign. timing on ls1 motor if i am using race gas (vp 103 octane) and colder plugs? it is a 125 shot just need to know if ihave GOT to do it

If your running a stock tune you should be alright. I have ran stock tune (and a more aggressive timing than stock with 150 and race gas) with race gas, gapped TR6 .036" and been fine. Tuning really should be a future mod, there is so much left in your combo. GL

Thanks 4 the info. yea got the tr6 and they are set at .035 anything else that i might need to know?

If you knock, then you need to pull timing, only way to know is dyno it and find out. Knock=byebye 346

Personally I dont recommend dyno tuning for nitrous unless you have no other way, if you have a scanner, you can dial it in right on the street, hm...meant drag strip since most dyno's dont load the engine correctly, there is the chance w/o knowing the load you set the AFR then run it on the track or a real load and POP goes the block.
