Default Odd electrical problem raised idel when armed

Well the problem is really wierd because when you flip the switch to arm the sytem the rpm raises up about 300-400 rpm. The system is grounded threw a window switch so it dosent have a ground when armed but it still rases the rpm when you flip the switch. It goes right back down when you trun it off and right back up again when its turned back on. Any one ever heard of some thing like this?

I experienced the exact same thing with my old zex nmu / msd digital window switch combo... rpms would come up almost 1000rpm.

I don't have any idea what the cause was. After I changed to my fjo controller and bigger noids the issue was gone.

Chances are it's the way the wires were routed or a stray electrical connection. The coils seem to pick up a lot of interference. Double check the connections and maybe route your wires a little differently.

I had a problem similar to this with my Zeitronix wb02. My window switch gives me no grief, but the zietronix did as you described. When I hooked the scanner up to my car I noticed the TPS was reading about 3% at idle. Hmmmm. Unhooked TPS signal from zeitronix and all was well. Havn't hooked it up since.
