****What fuel pumps do you recommend?****
Old setup consisted of a Noszle D.P. kit, inline fuel pump and a standalone fuel system which consisted of a 1 gallon fuel cell and a cheap Holley regulator and pump.
I want to know what brand pumps you guys recommend for the new setup I will be bringing out and if I am looking at decent pumps to begin with. With that being said the new motor will consist of a LME solid roller 408, ET C5R heads and a sheetmetal intake. Nitrous setup will more than likely be NX direct port kit which I don't know yet if we will be doing two stages or one stage with a progressive box. I intend to spray somewhere around a 400 shot.
I've been looking at the following pumps. If I go the Aeromotive route I would probably use the A2000 for the motor and the A1000 for the standalone. If I go the Magnafuel route I would use the ProStar 500 for the motor and the Quickstar 275 for the nitrous.
Do you guys think these are good choices for my setup and with the Magnafuel pump is it worth paying the $60-70 for the pump that has the built in filter?
Thanks!
Carlos

I personally would stick with the Magnafuel pumps. Only problem is the Pro-star 500 is not an EFI pump. That is a carb pressure pump, and you will need a pump like the 4303 (2000 hp), 4301 (1500 hp), 4302 (1000 hp). These pumps are priced from about $475-550. Not bad for the EFI pump, just no filter.
As for the nitrous system pump, the Quick star 275 would be more than enough. I am more than likely going to run this pump for my fogger system too.
I good friend of mine had an A1000 running his motor and plate system, but he has had the pump die on him twice. Once while spraying(burnt the pistons) and once on just motor.
Stick with Magnafuel and you'll be fine.

Dope, how much do plan on making on motor? why not stick with an intank Walbro with front mount regulator? It will handle over 600 to the wheels, and I doubt your pushing that. Then you can add another Walbro in the cell for the DP, use it either high or low pressure.

I think I may stick with the Magnafuel stuff.
