Default Z06 MS3 + 150 wet

Will my stock fuel pump hold up to a 150 wet shot with 440rwhp in my z06? At what hp levels does the stock fuel pump start maxing out? Is the Racetronix boost a pump my only fix if I have to upgrade?

97-02 vettes already have a walbro 255 pump from the factory i believe, but i would think you would be safe with a boost a pump. if not upgrade to the lingenfelter pump or racetronix pump.

I think he means the car cam only has 440rwhp, and he wants to add a 150 shot on top of that, but I could be wrong.

Im not even trying to make it fast. I just want one 10sec time slip. Im building a camaro to be fast, lot easier on the pocket book vs the z06.

I can sell you a slip cheaper then the fuel pump if that's all you want!

Do the pump, it's an easy mod and you will want it at your level of HP just to be safe.

Does the pump go in the tank or is it an inline pump?

You won't need a pump to go 10's. Hell I'd be suprised if you need anything but a 1.6x 60'.

The Racetronix fuel pump goes inside the fuel tank. The case that holds the factory walbro is re-used and the inards (the actual pump) is replaced.

So basically you will need to drain the tank, remove the pump from inside the tank (which I hear isn't that hard to do), then replace the insides of the pump with the racetronix........

Go to A&A corvettes website, they have decent instructions on the racetronix. Anything that you don't understand you can easily find on this site.

I am in the same boat as you and I am going with the racetronix. I figure I should be able to do it by myself in my garage.
