I've asked MA troopers and town officers about this in the past. I got answers that ranged from it's ok to you would need yellow Hazardous Materials signs on each side of the car. Yup, that's what he said

the way the TEXAS law is written, its illegal to USE it. but its not illegal to have it hooked up.

so unless the officer can PROVE you were using it, its perfectly fine.

Interesting.

Can you or anyone show us where it reads that it is legal to use nitrous?

if its legal your probably not going to see official documents saying its legal. usually there is only official stuff saying stuff is not legal.

ex: you wont find anywhere saying its legal to spray helium into your motor... but it is legal.

insted of writing out EVERYTHING that is legal its alot easier to write out everything that is not legal. its a shorter list basicly

Guess i didnt ask right. Where is it read on how its not legal. How did you come up with this conclusion by the way the law reads is more or less what im asking.
