Default Cam n Nitrous

Well i finished bolt ons on my car. I wanted to make a plan on what to do with my car. Overall my goal is 11.9 on a highly streetable car. Driven pretty much just in the summer and good days. But, the faster the better.

Someone mentioned I try cam and nitrous and I think that is a good setup for me. Power and $ wise, it will probably be the best for me. Some power always there and then the extra power when needed. I think probably a cam that will get me ~410-420 rwhp and then do a 100-150 wet shot. I think that I can be well over 500 rwhp and that will definentally take me into the 11s, if not 10s. It seems much more cost effective than heads and cam, or any FI setup.

Anyone have this setup. Any regrets? What track ets are you running and what kind of hp are you putting down?

Any specific cams you would recommend to me if I plan on spraying?

Any othe

you're gonna need a sizeable cam for that kind of power cam only and the streetabilty will be questionable at best

when i just was cam only with the 228 R,lts, ory, through hooker catback i had rw in the 38X range,on a nx 150 shot with 6 * pulled timing and a rich, safer a/f ratio i had around 515 so that should be somewhere in the ballpark of what you are looking for.traction is the problem for us m6 guys, and be prepared to invest in a good rear and another clutch.the snowball effect happens when you start getting into the big power.

If you look at my sig. you will find its not hard getting into the 11's with bolt ons and just a 100 shot. And BTW there 86k on it so you can see its still very streetable!
You should not have a problem getting well into the 11's.

Yup...I know someone that went 11.60s in an SS with a few bolt-ons and a 150 shot. Stock stall, stock cam, and a set of drag radials.

With a good tune you can deffinatly hit 400 rwhp and still be streetable with a m6. Just upgrade fuel pump and injectors and hit it with a 150
