You would be suprised what a difference from 10.8 to 11.5-11.8 could make..

I would think maybe around 25 rwhp? I could be WAY off though, how much are you thinking? I've played around with smaller shots and a/f and didn't see a ton of change, but maybe the 300 shot would really wake up going a full point leaner?

Well you dont want to get it to lean. However on the bigger shots the pressure drop in the bottle is greater also. Through out your pass the airfuel normaly goes richer. So if you are at 10.8-11.0 it may go even richer than that. It seems to nose the car down in MPH and hp on the top end.

Just my personal opinion from what I have seen through out time.

That's weird, mine does the exact opposite, once I get into high gear she starts to lean out a little and will be at it's leanest point as i'm going through the traps, which I just assumed was all the extra air gettin rammed in from goin so fast, but who knows. It's not much of a diff, but leaner than any other point in the run other than the little lean spike when it initially hits.

yeah we dont run excessive bottle pressures so the pressure drop isnt as bad and it seems to be leaner after everything is said and done up top.

ATVracr and Shiznity dry setup is what weve pushed the hardest. ATVs went 9.6 on pump/drag radials in Memphis, but I wouldnt chance any tuneup even close to the edge. On good gas well see what the differences are, on pump gas 10.0 to 11.0 isnt much of a power difference, at least not what you would expect it to be. (This is all testing done on our Mustang dyno and at the track)

Is it possible that the fuel/nitrous rails cant flow enough to support a 300 shot?I only pisked up 14 mph on a 300 shot?I actually picked up the same amount with a 200 shot before but that was a NX maf kit and I had a 6 speed.

Put the 200 pills and tune it for max safe trap speed. Put the 300 in tune for max safe trap speed. if theres negligeable difference, Id look at the converter effeciency, trans slipping or restiriction in the nitrous delivery system

Dude, there's a lot of ls1 cars hittin a 300 shot without issues, it's when you start gettin to 400 - 450 that you really have to start worrying about lifting heads and ****. The car you have a video of may not have been built to handle it and/or didn't have a good tune in it to handle it.

A.R.E.'s old silver Z was an awesome example of this. Their rumored "300 shot" (more like a 450-500 shot) sounded like an explosion when it hit! It was down right nasty if you ever heard it in person! Might be why they went through a bunch of hard parts on that engine though.
