Default AN Fittings and a Tap?

I'm going to make my own Distribution block, and I want to beable to connect a male SS nitrous line into it. Which I believe would be an AN fitting. What size are the most common size lines? Like the one from my NOS kit, and what Tap do I need? (does the AN fitting require something special or is it just an NPT thread?)

Also I was going to use a chunk of Aluminum, but doesn't it have a chance of corrosion? I would go with SS but its a pain to machine.

thanks guys!

you can tap the distribution block for normal fittings (NPT) and then get the fittings that go from that (NPT) to AN. That is how I would do it anyways.

I have a set of four of these for sale for a 100.00 + shipping (they cost me 30.00 a piece 130.00 total + shipping)

But if your going to make your own you'll need a 1/8" NPT pipe tap for AN-3 to 1/8" NPT fittings .and a 3/16" drill bit to make the nitrous & fuel flow hole and them counter bore with a size (R) drill bit to drill about a 1/2" deep for tapping.
