Default Dont know much about nitrous, but I have a kit. ??

This is what I have.. a NOS nitrous universal kit. It says for 4,6 cylinders. Whats the difference in 6&8 cylinders? It has some type of switch that looks like you would place it under the pedal. Its a wet kit and has alot of wires and a solenoid with it. I can get the part number if that will help. I put a 224/224 in a while back, and the car is currently running 13.2 A/F . I need to know if the best/easiest place would be to inject it in the lid, or where? Im running about 410 to the wheels. Would I need to retune the car? Its adjustable (different size nozzles). Would I be safe running a 100 shot with my current set-up, or would I need some TR6's and change a bunch of stuff?

I just looked and this is the part number Kit #05130... it says 35-75 hp. Would different nozzles change that?

I'm not sure what the kit is rated to, but you can buy different nozzles individually other than what comes with it to adjust the power.

TR6s are better for nitrous than a standard plug.

The switch is a WOT switch that only activates the system at WOT.

I'm not sure what the difference between the 4, 6 and 8 would be...I'm running a kit designed for the LS1 on my V6 right now.

Well i dont know about the n2o side but im willing to bet that the fuel jet is set up for a lower fuel pressure. I would get new jets a window switch some tr6's and a fuel pump if you dont allredy have one. Retuning the car to retard the timing would be a good idea or getting a timing tunner. Nozzel location put it after the maf.
