AN conversion?
Hey guys,
I think for my Purge line i'm going to use about a -4AN, or maybe a -3. My question is, what is the I.D. of that?
I didn't know if there was a equivalency chart for AN sizes to standard/metric ID
Also since I wanna run stainless steel braided lines, I don't really think I need to buy the nitrous lines ($$$$). And my local speed shops don't have braided line (live in the sticks)
Anybody online able to get me a 3ft, and 1 sections with a T connector?

The I.D. will vary depending on the wall thickness of the tube. -4 is 1/4 O.D. and -3 is 3/16 O.D. Most bradied line that is used in swedge style fittings is .030" wall and I belive most line used with reusable hose ends like Earls for example will be around .040" wall. But if you are using it for purge only it doen't have to be as strong as a normal nitrous line since it won't see nearly as much pressure.
