Few things
I just got a '99 M6 Z28 Camaro and have already ordered the SLP lid, SLP LTs, SLP y-pipe, and the SLP Loudmouth exhaust. I'm sure that'll all be fun but I'm looking into a nitrous set up.
So question is, what would be a safe shot to use? It's my first time using spray and I don't want to start too aggressive. I know all about the kit and the WOT, the better spark plugs, etc and to spray at WOT, so just for semantics, I hit WOT, spray, let off spray to shift, wait til WOT in the next gear and spray again? Eh, sorry for the newbie questions, but I also don't know anyone from experience who has ran nitrous.
Lastly, does anyone know a legitimately good speed shop in the NJ/NY/PA/CT area? I want to take my car to a place that has a lot of experience with LS1s/nitrous/etc. Thanks for the answers ahead of time.

PA would put ya in Harris Speed Works territory...
Take a look at Matt's site, he is a Sponsor, look for the HSW logo.
Give him a call or shoot him a PM.
Edit: Noticed it was your first post

Haha thanks. It's been a long trip, from my first car a few years back as a V6 Mustang that was a complete moneypit, to a '96 Cobra, to a more refined 2003 Mercedes C240, and now to bigger and better things. Decided I wasn't going to make anymore mistakes with Mustangs which have **** response to mods (except for the 03-04 Cobra of course).
Anyway, could you possibly answer those other questions I asked? I've seen you posting around here so you must be pretty knowledgable.

Thanks, I am still a rookie though
But I have read, researched, and talked with most all the vendors while putting my kit together, in addition I stayed in a Holiday Inn Select for crew change a few times
Plugs, Correct need colder plugs, Matt was nice enough to make the sticky at the top for what plugs to get, so when he made up my hoses I bought my plugs from him too.
In addition to a base kit (wet or dry your pick), you should get a bottle heater (cus your a yankee like me) and you need to heat the bottle up to maintain the pressure around 950 PSI, and a window switch so the juice only shoots at 3000 to whatever you want.
Read the stickies at the top on the wet or dry question, talk to Matt and or the other vendors on the issue.
Likely your looking at a 100-125 Dry for your needs or a 100-150 wet.

Andrew,
Welcome to LS1tech. The best way to gain reading knowledge is to search the nitrous section and read what you can. The key to using nitrous safely is knowledge. Make sure you use a window switch also. If I can help you in anyway let me know.

You can make as little or as much power as you like with your car. It just depends on what you have done to your car, what you are planning on doing to your car, how much additional fuel you car uses over stock etc. If you're willing to upgrade your fuel pump and do a few other minor things you can spray a signifigant amount, 200 or more is feasible. But if you'd like to remain mostly stock and not mess with your fuel pump you're looking at the 125-150hp range.
Let us know what we can do to help ya!

Thanks for all of the support. Now, in the northeast, what price range am I looking at for install? Because there is a well-known speedshop (mainly for ricers) that is giving me an estimate of close to $1000, without parts, which seems slightly high. I know everything is a complete ripoff in the northeast but still, anyone have experience with it?
