Default Solinoids and heat

Right now my solinoids are mounted to my driver side valve cover. Heard a lot of heat can hurt them. Saturday I am going to mount them just above the fuel pressure regulator area. Think they are okay?

Car has a tune and a 160 thermo so it does not get hot.

Solenoids themselves produce heat, and it eventualy can cause their failure. You want your noids to have plenty of air flow and it's best to place them in the area they are least likely to heat soak.

In short, yes the area of the FPR would be better option than on VC.
