Default track time with nitrous

went to bradenton last night and got 2 runs in......
bottle pressure was only 900, for some reason my heater would not work.
happy that i skipped 13's and went straight to 12's but i think i can do alot better with higher bottle pressure and soon to be a 150 shot.

heres the timslips. how much faster could i be if i had 1100 ps1 or so? just wandering...

Depends on the AFR. Jetting vs. pressure = AFR on the sauce. If its an adj. bottle heater, try adj. the settings.

What is the DA at the track your running at you should be closer to a 11sec car with a 100 shot well at least low 12s.

i think i would be like a 12.6-7 with my heater, i will have the shop check it out and see if its a wiring problem or what.

my 60's arent the best and i weight 4k lbs, not sure of the DA, but it wasnt that hot out, and tampa cant be too high up.

its not adjustable, atleast that i know of. guess i will just have to see what it does next time with the correct psi

Get the psi straight and also DA is effected by Humidity and Barometric pressure, factored against elevation and temp.

Getting bottle pressure up to 1000 to 1100 is going to help some. but maybe your tune/timing is off some maybe gettting to rich/lean and hrting your potential.

I think it's as much a driver mod for this one. With a good reaction time of .200 you'd be in the 12.6 1/4mph range already (referring to the slip on the right). So all you need to do from there is get a little higher bottle pressure and get your 60ft down and you'll be low 12s high 11s.

You can use these links...and do the homework on it.. Just change it to your location. You can go back and do historic weather as well, which helps if your looking for a pattern.

Reaction time has not effect whatsoever on the ET. 60 ft time is the number one factor - its all in the 60!
