Default Problems after nitrous instal

Well I went out to test my nitrous tonight to make sure everything works right, the purge works, heater works, but the nitrous itself is messed up. I went full throttle and turned on the nitrous at 3500 and all the sudden it fell on its face at 4500 RPM's. I have a 100 nitrous jet in and 125 fuel jet in to be safe until I get it on the dyno, but I don't think this would cause that since it pulls hard until 4500 RPM's.

Sounds like the N2O solenoid isn't opening.

Are you running a fuel pressure saftey switch?

either a noid is stuck or if your running a fuel pressure switch, the pressure switch might be adjusted wrong

I don't have a fp saftey switch, and the nitrous definatly turns on at 3K, but then it nose dives at 4500RPM's. My only guess is it's running too rich with the 125 fuel jet in there.

You might be getting some predetonation.

Try some race gas and see what happens.

I have the BNM window switch. The only wire on it that I didn't hook up is the wire taht goes to the brake pedal ground. Is there any purpose to that wire? And I'm getting some knock retard on the scanmaster, when I arm it and go WOT it gets 3 degrees every time, when I got WOT then arm it sometimes it gets 0 then other times its like 1/2 degree.

Just to update the thread, I bypassed the window switch and now it works fine.
