Ok here is my project Im gonna buy a POS little car that is a beater and then im gonna strip it down and make it as light as possible but still be street legal. I havent found a car yet but im look to spend about $500 on the car. Here is a quick question i plan on putting a 200 shot on the car and im hoping it will last one run. If i can get the car down to 2500lbs and get about 230rwhp out of the beater do you think it could beat a Bone stock Automatic ls1. I realize a bone stock auto ls1 probaly has about 300rwhp. The beater would have about 70 less rwhp but it would be close to 1100lbs lighter. So what do yall think? And another question, i want to buy the absolute cheapest nitrous kit to put on the car. I already have a bottle. Should i buy a used kit or should i buy every little seperate piece and just mix and match different brands since i already got a bottle. Does anyone sell kits w/o bottles?
