People like him make me not know what to do....
well, do what i do.

ignore the advice of people NOT doing it, and listen to the people that are...

so in this case, id listen to the guys running 150 shots... espically the ones that have been running them for years.

you NEED the plugs.
you NEED the fuel. (get that pump and change your fuel filter.)

you dont need to pull any timing.
you dont need to tune for any external engine mods... this includes, headers, LS6 intake, lid, ect...

That's funny because I've got about 50-75 runs on a 150 shot and I've got 4 degrees of timing pulled. I've never fouled a plug and have never heard a knock

wow. no ****?
i mean.. you PULLED MORE TIMING THEN NEEDED and got no knock?

thats funny, because me and 400 other guys have just as many runs on a 150 with NO timing pulled... we're not fouling plugs, and dont have detonation either...

lol, sarcasm aside.. seriously, what are you trying to say?
if im saying "you dont need to pull any" and you're saying "i pulled some without problem" how does that invalidate what im saying? it just means you ran less timing then you could have. if it was my car, unless i was going to spray more then 150, id put the timing back in.

If HE Sprays a Wet Shot of 150 Or Under He Needs No Timing Pulled.. If its a Dry 75/100+ I would Recommend Pulling TIME.

I have done the same with my old stock '93 LT1 Corvette. I used octane booster with colder plugs at .035 gap. It was not with my current TNT kit, it was with NX and boosted the rear wheel horse from 235 to 375. The 150 you are considering should be quite safe.

You need to hook it up to a scanner and look at your timing on and off the bottle. You should not a Run a 150 shot on a stock pump you WILL blow it up. You at least need an in line. Stock pumps are only good up to 450RWHP then pressure starts to drop at WOT. Good luck man

There was a post a while back (of course I can't find it now), with pictures of 150 shot internal explosion. That is an exception, but he did not have it tuned. Why risk it? Some guys have made several passes with stock plugs, some guys are running 150+ shots with the stock fuel pump, some guys have drag radials with a stock rear, etc. Time is an equalizer. You will always find guys that are successfully playing with fire. Personally, too much time and effort has gone into modding... just to have to do it all over again because because I skimped. IMO, do it right the first time, and in the case of N2O that means ALL the safety features.
