Default 300 shot last night

Ok firts off I have ran more that a 300 before (350) but it has always been 1/8 mile last night I entered a race called the real nobull nationals I was in thr radial tire class, I was hoping to race a slower car the first round just to test the 300 shot out because i havent used it sense the new Dart heads went on but wouldnt you know it i get the fastest car first round so i hope for the best and turn it all on.
I left the line on a 100 shot and at the 60ft the 300 came on at the same time the 100 went off, at the 1/8 mile i looked at the wide band and it was bottomed out at 10.1 but it was pulling like a mother so i stayed in it car really felt good all the way through but after i shut it down i could smell trans fluid and seen the ambulance going on to the track so at this time i thought i just sprayed the track but after getting to the car stoped i looked under it didnt see anything so i started down the return road (track was also fine) then i noticed the car is very hot (240*) its never been that hot so i shot it down and soon as i stop the upper radiator hose explodes, After a settles down i see the belt is gone so now i'm woundering did it push water? or just overheat due to no belt?
The biggest kicker is that i wasnt able to get a time slip due to the no bull race is NT heads up racing and they cant give or tell a time all i know is the trap speed was 144mph O and i lost that race

could you tell at what point the belt came off?
Did you do any damage to the motor? Plugs ok?

I just looked at the run again and i can tell you the engine temp was only 192* when i got off the gas but by the time i got back to the pit and shut it down the data shows 270* thats when it blew so my guess would be at the very end of the run or while i was slowing down is when the belt came off

if the overflow/can has no water, then it probably didnt push any water.
sounds like a water pump or fan issue.

you need an electric pump.
i found once i hit a certain power leavle, and a certain rpm, id throw the belt.
the electric one, no more throwing belts.

it probably kicked the belt on the top end, and that's why the ambulance went out there. people in the tower might have seen something get thrown from the car.

but damn, that's hauling the mail

i had mine on for 3 years now, one of those years it was street drivin alot. maybe 5k miles or more, and i never had an issue, and mine was the race style pump.

its nice, light, and works well. i wired it in direct instead of in the computer so i can run that and my fans in the staging lanes, it cools from say 180- 130 ish in about 10 minits!!!
