How much spray?
i had a friend with a full bolt on car and he broke a piston in the midst of the run and ran a 12.3. this was a lt1 car with a 125 shot in a m6 car. stick with a 100 wet shot and do all the bolt ons and a 100 shot will prob get you 12.3 and with a lil cam u could go a little faster.

Suspension on that car was great. Motor and drivetrain was NOTHING special.
Local built Th400 with PI 4200 stall
Stock 2000 LS1 with a 228/232 cam
918 springs
rod bolts
Pacesetter headers
Magnoflow cat back ( no cutout even)
CAI
All other parts where stock including the ls1 intake
pulley
water pump
PS
heads
head gaskets
etc
keep in mind that HP through a t56 would have probably been like 360 all motor and 500 on juice roughly
So I think it can be done...but when shooting for an ET power production takes a back seat to properly set up chassis/stall. And that aint cheap either. Making the HP you needs to go high 10s really isnt that hard.

well the internals wont make it look any faster or run any less mpg.so just rebuild it stock with good forged parts...a lil tranny work and some slicks......just dont go auto and stall or your socalled gas mileage will be hurt.ive never payed attn. to my gas mileage though .
