it just replaces the housing around the actual GM sensor. So if your MAF is out youll need to replace that. However the NX MAF kit is a highly recoemnded kit.

Question

i'm very new to the world of nitrous, thinking about getting a kit in the next year or so. only looking for a 100 shot. car has stock motor, headers, intake.

how safe is the MAF kit? i'm assuming it would be categorized as a 'Dry' system. would a wet kit be safer?
could someone give me a quick description of how exactly this kit works. also, what else would i need besides a window switch and TPS?

thanks in advance for your info.

The NX MAF kit is a wet kit.

You can see one half of the MAF in the pic.

Very nice kit, one of the cleanest looks and a performer for sure. I am still debating on running this as one of my stages.

Dual piece MAF.
I bought it for my Z06 and couldnt use it after I found out it was two piece and the place where I bought it is going out of business and wouldnt take it back.
It is absolutely brand new and only the MAF pieces were taken out of the pack. I have a WOT switch and a GENX-2 kit also, but am gonna waite to see if I need or can use the GENX-2 on my new toy that I have coming.
New Toy

Thanks!!

Chris, just give us a call I am sure we might be able to help you out. Seeing how the system was not the right one for you in the first place.
