Default When do you refill your 10#'er ?

I'm down to about 4#'s and some change and thinking about getting it filled. I subtracted 1 pound of the total weight for the pressure switch, brass fitting, and pressure guage. I just wanted to see if anyone does it differently or has a better way.

I have to fill mine after every two run's Every time I try to get three out of one it starts to breakup and fall off the before the traps as pressure drops under 900 from 1050.

I got 3 runs with 150hp jets, and 1 100hp jet run in the 1/4 and still have a bit left. I'll weigh the bottle when I get home from work and post how much exactly is left!

if i know im going out racing i like to get it topped off, even if it is 2 or 3 lbs. ask harris speed - im there all of the time for like 3 lbs or something stupid like that. it is on my way home from work though so no big deal..

i try to NOT go out intending to use the spray unless i have a full bottle or MAYBE one run on the bottle. how much does it suck when somebody wants to re-run or you spun or whatever, and you run it and it runs out mid-race (happened to me a bunch of times). f-that, keep that **** filled.

Same here.....I would fill it every two runs or so. I would hate to need it and not have it.

THIS is what I am using.

After two pass's I might have 4Lbs left but it is not enough to cover the pressure drop on the next pass

This scale takes four 'c' battery's and is a huge help at the track in between pass's

Just keep it filled up as much as possible, the more you have the higher you psi will be, which is always a plus

Wink

I'll do seven passes, and get it filled. Seems to work pretty good for my setup.

According to what I have read, you should refill when you have ~30% capacity left.
