Lightning noid owners........come inside!
Does anyone know what the NX lightning noids are rated at?
I just want to know what the limit of these noids are. I may go add some BIG jets!

My Stage 6 noids (dual stg dry)will be here Saturday and they are a .093 orifice, which is good for about 200/250hp depending on what bottle pressure.
It depends on if you got the Stage 1 noids (wet hit) that are .078/.150, or the Stage 6 which are .093/.187.

The -3 line from the solenoid to your plate will max out at 175hp. You can upgrade it to a sho hose and be good to go..

That sucks!! I'll get with you soon if I need to upgrade those lines. Eventually I'd like to go with a 225 or 250hp shot.

Last question (at the moment), are your kits rated to the wheels? Meaning if I add the 200hp jets, will it be 200 to the wheels (or close)??

Jon, might as well order the Dry stuff from Dave when you get the new hose... (for the two stage). Dave already replied in one of your earlier threads his kits are RWHP rated.
I see your ahead of Robert on the current list...
LOL I am not looking forward to running at the track and taking up the title of slowest Nitrous Y body on the board...

The problem is traction though. So over the winter I am going to re-evaluate my tires situation!
BTW, Robert is having plenty of issues which are keeping him from taking his spot. Which should be higher than mine.

Hey Jon, I just got about 200 feet of -4an braided teflon hose for free, left overs from work. You can have a section and I will have my hydraulics guy put some SS ends on for ya-FREE. But then, you'll have to let me pass you on the nitrous list and the NW list, hehehehe. I am coming for my spot on Wed if everything works out. Another battle of the vettes. We should show these guys the video of your 11.2 run where you creamed this red Z06 that ran a 14.x.
Oh yea, come on Beer, we need ya on the y-body list. Your car is going to be faster than you think.

It might just be best to get a line with crimped ends. Like the ones that come with the kit. What do you think?
Once I get this squared away, I'm going to focus on the cage. Once the cage is finished, I'll swap out the nitrous line for a bigger one, install the 200hp jets and go for broke!
That should put me in the 10's! And if it don't........I'm going to be pissed. I definately need some better rear tires.

Yes, the -4an is good to about 400hp.

Yes, they are crimped on a machine and good to about 5000psi, we spike these SS fitting with that pressure all the time at work (hydraulics), and all the ends on my system are these same SS ends, however, polished.

You can make a select pass or two on my ET Streets, but only if you promise not to go faster than me.

And I sincerly thank you for that!
About the lines, I'll come visit you and we can talk about what to do! I will need to upgrade the lines before I spray a 200 shot. Now I'm glad I didn't put the 200 jets in at the track last Wednesday. I was real tempted.

For upgrading the -3lines you need a -4 line with a -3hose end at one end and a -4at the other end. The -3side connectes to your nitrous jet, and you will also need an 1/8"npt to -4AN male fitting for the solenoid end.
This would increase your flow capability. NX calls them their SHO lines.
Hope thats clear.
