Default nitrous line and water leaks

Currently, to route my nitrous line from the inside of my car to the outside, I have it running under the passenger's seat behind the driver. It goes through that rubber piece that used to plug the huge, gaping hole. Now, under the seat the carpet and insulation are wet. It also smells nasty! What can I do to rectify the situation?

I was thinking of actually welding a steel -4AN coupler fitting through my car and then attaching lines on either end to prevent any further leakage. I haven't decided where exactly the fitting would go, but is this an ok idea or is it retarded?

If it's a good idea I might even do it for my blow down tube and replace it with a -8AN braided line.

Thanks.
