Default Problems with solenoids mounted on the head?

Anyone else had solenoids burning up or not opening from being mounted on the head? I am using the nitrousoutlet bracket and ever since then I have been having all kinds of problems with the noids. The fuel solenoid has had no issue, but the nitrous solenoid never seems to work right. I am using a progressive controller now, but I don't really pulse them much because I run rpm based and I am on full spray by 4800rpm or so. Being that I never had any problems before and I am really not pulsing much, I've got to attribute the issues to heat from the head. I am changing brands of solenoids now to NX, but should I remount the noids off of the motor?
