Default What are the NHRA's rules on blow-down tubes?

I bought one of the aluminum 180 degree blowdown tubes but it was too short (spare tire area), so I extended it with some rubber hose out the gromet on the bottom of the spare tire area. Is this legal? I doubt the tech at the track will even be able to see the rubber that makes it come out the bottom, but I'm just wondering if they have any rule on this.

Im just using a 32" of braided line with a -10 fitting on it for my blowdown, tech allowed it at the track. I also used the same thing with clear plastic tubing hose clamped on the end cause it wasnt long enough and that still passed. Most tracks will let it go as long as the **** is tight and goes outside the car.
