Default drilling the pills and hiding the bottle

2 questions here.... so i heard that you can actually drill the pills and run a bigger shot than what the pill says? how true is that? also i want to hide my bottle... i am going to put a dummy bottle in the back but everyone checks in the spare tire compartment.... anyother places i could hide it? i was thinkin of puttin a little sub box in the back left corner where the opening is and sticking the bottle in there. would that work with a little cutting?

Why risk your motor by drilling out a precision machined jet? New jets are only $5.. A new motor is $5000 if you dont do it properly.
As for hiding the bottle. I was wanting to see if someone could stuff a 10 lb bottle in between the outer fender well and inner B-pillar on the passenger side above the spare tire compartment. Then you could just cover up the hole with some carpet or something and no one else would be the wiser..

they sell bits to drill jets. i have done it befor in an emergency (dropped a jet lost it had to make one) but id say be sure to get the right tools to do it, then be sure to mike (sp) it up and its the correct size.

as for the bottle, yes, you can fit it on the other side, i did an install for a kid and we orded his kit with 2 5 pound bottles and we twinned them together, put them there and made a little cover. never know it was there

..
he is looking to put a 50 jet in and make 150 or what ever, but then when he smokes his opponent, and the opponent says, your hitting that car with more then 50 you so no way man, 50, check the jet if you want, look it says 40 a 40 is only a 50 shot (just example on size)

then with the dummy bottle, his opponent then says, fine, race me off the spray, he then says fine i'll try it. the guy says, nono, take your bottle out of the car, i dont trust you!!! so you then take the dummy bottle out, and run him again just to smoke him again!!!!!!

think ive done that befor

If you are going to drill jets its best to flow it. A small bur or other anomaly could change the flow of a jet despite what it may measure. Other than that people have been drilling jets forever.

Just get a numbered drill bit set. i do this and works fine, you can use up your smaller jets that are used no more. Another reason dry hits rule, you don't need to flow check your drilled out jet to get optimum a/f ratio.

What about removing the passenger side air bag and stuffing the bottle behind there? I haven't taken one apart, but I always thought if there was enough room... what an ideal hiding place.

Yea, I like to think of it as not so cheap of a shot, but rather stating facts, as the facts do back the statement up. Dry has been getting the bum rap for so long, because of mostly mis/non information.
