fuel presure drop on initial hit?

what is an acceptable fuel pressure drop on the initial hit? also how long should it take to recover and does it recover all the way back to 60 psi?

If your running a wet hit, '0', as any drop will affect the a/f ratio, however some will say 5 to 10psi, but... A good pump and return and reg at the rails will go a long way on eliminating fuel system problems, with these mods mine stays rock solid all the way to highest demand area.

since they changed the fuel system in mid 03, my only options are the ECS complete fuel system or a stand alone fuel system. i have a wideband and a fuel pressure gauge going in so i will be watching it very carefully. i just want to know what people see on their fuel pressure gauges on the initial hit and the recovery during the run. anyone else?

IMO, nothing more then 2 or 3 psi. But like Robert said a 0 psi drop would be ideal.

You can also run a fuel accumulator to stop your fuel press drop on initial hit. We have them.
