Default NXL setup questions...

I think this is a badass and very versatile setup but I've read from other sites that this kit is garbage. Can people with experience chime in and give their thoughts on it?

Allright, I found some posts on this kit and the problems there were. Has this kit been fixed? Is it working properly now?

I had a NXL kit on my 2000 TA and it ran flawlessly. Car ran very good too! They have fixed most if not all the issues.

Cool, that's good to hear, it seems this setup isn't very popular, I'm kinda leaning towards a MAF setup now.

I like to describe the NXL like this. It is desighned for the guy looking for the directport look but not wanting to spray more than 120-180. Due to the fact it feeds off the cars fuel ssytem and there is no way to add a dedicated its not all that great for big shots..

Thing is, I really like the look of the kit and how it's just in your face when you look under the hood. I like to show the car, but I like to race as well. My goals are a H/C car with 150 to 200 shot and 11's in street/DD/strip car. I'm a nitrous newb, (been doing lots of research though) and whichever one I get, it will be my first kit. I'm looking to run all the safety bells and whistles as well. After all the horror stories I read about this kit, I think I'm leaning more towards the NX MAF setup.

I've got the kit. My thought going into it were the same as yours. I have had some quirks, but am working through them. It does have the wow appeal. You may want to look at some of Dave's DP set-ups before you decide.

I also like the fact you don't have to drill the intake manifold. Dave, any other setups use the fuel injectors as the nitrous jets?

Wait, why not? Why can't you add a dedicated system? What does the regular fuel system have that a a dedicated can't also have? I would think that a dedicated system could eliminate the need for the accumulator.

I have the NXL kit it's great, looks good and runs good. Just changed the jets from 120 to 180. I also have the MAF kit for my first stage but haven't tried it yet. It's much easier to change 2 jets with the MAF kit than 16 with the NXL, think about it.
