Default Cam only, 100 shot ?

Okay i have a cam,longtube bolt on 2000 ...
heres some info before i ask my questions.

2000 ws6 6 spd
ls1 intake manifold
svo 30# injectors
stock fuel pump
Tuned for the #'s in sig


I have no doubt the motor can handle the power,But if im SETUP to run that kind of power. I have done searches, but its just made me more confused, Maybe i can get some guys who run similar setups to chime in ...

I want to throw a 100 at it . Starting out . Tuned
Should i go dry or wet ?
Will i need bigger injectors ? A Fuel pump? if so what size... Ive been in my buddys longtubed,4k stall z28 with a 75 shot, it seems weak to me..

Any info would be Appreciated...

honestly i run a 125 dry shot on my completly bone stock ls1 with only one mod, that being tr6 plugs. never had a problem.

I know id have to do the TR6's ... but i dont want to run out of fuel .. Have you tuned it ? or gotten a correct air/fuel reading ?

You've answered your own question, tuning/logging will tell if you run out of fuel. You would likely be fine with a small shot, and with upsized injectors you can easily go dry.

I went 11.97 on a 75 shot, stock manifolds and exhaust
and went 11.5 on a 100 shot. with stock exhaust. So, there was a bit of a difference from a 75 shot to a 100 shot for me.

thats crazy, and good news, Okay .. Hey 01 ramair , do you have injectors ? so you've tuned it yourself ? with just adjusting the jets ?

I have a 224 cam with a 2-stage, with just my cam and dry shot put down 505hp, with my 2nd stage wet, put down 618hp. I went with 30#svo injectors, racetronix fuel system, and Harris stand alone for the 2nd stage. I have been running that dry shot with my cam for a while and car runs great with no problems. I do not have injectors b/c I'm running a wet kit. I haven't had any kind of nitrous tune or anything. If I want to go up in the shot, I just change the jets. Started at a 75 shot b/c I was a little nervous at first. That lasted one time to the track. Next time out I went to the 100 shot. Ran that for a year. Just went to the 150 shot. I do throw a couple gallons for 100 octane in though. An upgraded fuel pump will be in my near future and something that I would recommend. But, I'm still on the stocker.

btw, do you spray through shifts ? or do you use a window switch.. (my friend is curious,he has a yank 4000 and runs nitrous)

I have an a4 car and a wide open throttle switch and never let off the gas through shifts! it has worked great for me and no i have never had a tune or a/f readings. with dry shots as long as you put the jets in the right spot you should be fine on smaller shots.

01_ram-air, i dont want to be an *** or anything, but your animated sig is going to get token down when the mods see it. and if you've done it more than once....prepare for a vacation from tech for a while.....i should know first hand
