Default Spraying out of the hole

This last weekend 9-16-06 I went to byron dragway in IL, my car is a 2001 Z06 stock with a 150 shot the kit is (NOS LS1 NOSzle System 10lb Bottle)

My first pass (shake down to see if every thing was working right) I heated up my 275/40-17 MT drag radials and lunched at about 3500-3800 rpms spun a little but not to bad then engaged the nitrous right when I hit 3rd gear every thing work how it should :thumbsup

My second run (trying to spray out of the whole or asap) I heated up the tires a little longer and lunched at 3800-4000 hooked up good not perfect but good when the nitrous engaged it bogged a little and took off.

My third run (spray out of hole again) I did the same burn out and run 2 tried lunching it the same as run 2 as well but this time when the nitrous engaged the car fell flat on its fast rpms would not go over 700rpm and by the 330' it was dead..... tried restarting it would work..... 2 min after letting it sit the car fired right up

My fourth run (same start as runs # 2 and # 3) the car did the EXACT same thing at is run #3

My fifth to eighth run I didn’t spray......

What could be the problem need help asap

Scott

Sounds like nitrous flow issues. You were going really rich for some reason.. Check the nitrous noid to make sure it is flowing.

Just be glad it was the nitrous noid and not the fuel noid.

You need to check your stuff out and stop messing with it the second it doesn’t act right.

I’ve seen to many people go home on trailers because they wanted to try it one more time rather than just taking it home and looking into the cause of the problem.

If it's a wet kit and the fuel solenoid fails, the fuel pressure safety switch isn't going to save you. It will save you if the fuel pump takes a dump though....

I was on the dyno the other day and we had some issues where I was getting too much fuel. The car died when the accelerator was let off of and the car died. It was just flooded! It didn't want to start up right away........it took a minute or so and had to run the excess puddled fuel out of the thing. Then it was good to go again.

Your situation sounds very similar to mine in the simple fact that you are getting too much fuel. You need a wide band like I do, so we can monitor the air and fuel in our setups.

I'm betting that there is an issue with your noid or lines causing too much fuel, not enough nitrous or no nitrous in your setup. Start with the noids and then check the lines........

Let us know how things go! Good luck!

I never personally did that, but I was screwin with a buddy of mine, told him I was gonna run my motor to his spray and had one of my buddy's sneak in the trunk to open the bottle back up while he wasn't lookin in the staging lanes, well needless to say, at the top of second gear he's startin to come around me and I hit third and flip the switch and start goin slower, I was damnit, wtf!!! I get back and check the bottle, he only had it cracked open a 1/4 turn!

Oh and then I think the worst thing that i've had happen was launching off the t-brake on the 300 shot and the fuel noid hit, but the n20 noid stuck and didn't open, it was the most disgusting thing ever, the car just fell on it's face and died as soon as I let off the t-brake, I was like wtf! Then I realized what happened!
