if were to buy a nitrous kit basically for the purge effect for car shows and just showing off. would i need additional stuff to get the purge to spray out both "nostrils" of a ws6 hood. i know it seems like a dumb question but i dont know jack about nitrous sytems.

 

they sell purge systems, just so you know. i think its stupid, but if its for a carshow... eh, its all good. i forget which company makes them though. look on the different performance sites in the nitrous sections and you should find it.

if you want the nitrous along with being able to purge, get a kit and get a compression t-fitting, and run 2 lines from the solenoid.

 

well sry i wasnt very clear but i meant to but a nitrous kit but use it mostly for the purge effect. ill probably run a low shot and use it at the track every once in a while. but thanks.

 

yea i believe dynotune(LS1tech sponsor) nitrous makes a kit for a dual purge. it comes with the T-fitting and lines. i think its like $13 or something like that. im sure you will hear from a sponsor. but if your looking to run a small shot i would look into a single nozzle kit such as NX, or NOS. the NX kits are rated from 50-150hp i believe. and any purge kit will do. if your using it for show i would check out dynotune's master blaster kit. they have a video on their website, the thing is awesome. check it out.

 

can you use that master blaster kit with a nitrous kit or is that another fake purge?

 

The master blaster works on actual nitrous kits not just the purge only kit like zex makes.

 

ok. sweet. thanks guys. thats all i really needed. now to save some money. that dynotune place sells those kits for a considerable amount less then NOS kist or NX systems. which is good news for us poor college kids.

 

I tell you if you want to save even more money, for the car shows get you a second bottle and fill it with C02 and just switch between the bottles.

 

Check out our website - check the purge section you will see a bunch of options. ICRAZY6 has a good point also, spraying CO2 if its for show will save you money on refills and give you a similar effect.
