Standalone - High or Low pressure?

Default Standalone - High or Low pressure?

Did a couple searches and didn't really see a clear answer. Just talk of how to set each of them up.

So the question:

When running a dedicated fuel system for these cars, would you be better off running a high pressure pump that can equal that of what the cars are receiving at the engine, or is a low pressure system, jetted appropriately for that pressure, going to be just as good?

what's the benefit of running a low pressure on a direct port vs high pressure?

seems the norm is low pressure, but why?

I prefer low pressure. It is easier to tune because you can use the fuel pressure to adjust A/F ratios easier than you can in a high pressure set up.

thats my thoughts about it. Plus adjust fuel pressure sometimes saves you the hassle of changing fuel jets...unless you find one or 2 cylinders burning plugs then i just up the jets on those cylinders.

When you use high pressure on a direct port the fuel jets are so small that they can easily get clogged, and we all know what happens when cylinders go lean.
