Default New best 9.51 @144

!st time the car has been out since the Pump Gas Drags. Picked up 5 MPH but only a tenth in ET.

I wish we could have gotten the car to hook yesturday, dont know what it was maybe just a dried up set of slicks. It was just a controlled spin all day, going to try the radials this weekend.

Here ya go.....

60'........1.42 (best 60' of the day)
330'.....3.98
1/8......6.11
mph....115.37
1000'.....7.95
1/4........9.51
mph.....144.4 (best mph was 144.8)

We picked up a solid 5 mph from Memphis so its making good power just need to get it to hook again, with this power I think a 1.29 isnt out of the question.

They had the new scales open at the track also ....3668 lbs.

Did you guys go to the regulator for the fueling supply like we talked about? Id like to think thats where the 5 mph came from...

Flow the kit and fittings use the shortest lines possible, and drill the nozzle out and you can have a dry kit that will be capable of whatever HP your solenoid will support.

I'd rather not flip the car over backwards The 150 shot out of the hole is plenty (when it hooks)

The MAF couldnt handle the extra N20 ....the second stage was killing the MAF signal

Looks like a DP will be my winter project and keep the dry 2nd stage.

Very nice, great work. When your 2nd stage kicks in, at that rpm and up you can adjust your PE wot fuel multiplier as an easy fix? or go into your power adder vs IAT and add a neg fuel multiplier at your specified temp range to decrease overall pe multiplier and this will only happen while spraying. something to think about. Worked for my punny little 235rwhp dual dry.

The way i was going to use it, was without the MAF. Set the timing up like a turbo setup. If you use the regulator and spray through the MAF, the computer adds fuel as well as what you are getting through the PCM. So my next step was to spray it like a wet kit after the maf.

I big single stage dry on a controller would be the ideal setup and money maker....

Guess i could hush now, im telling my next part time setup til the turbo parts are completed.

Sure reg would work well. using a BAP and have it set to come on at what ever rpm you want would/could also add extra fuel.

It literally drops the MAF signal and goes dead lean.

the wet dry combo seems to work good.

Hmmm... Why is that? Seen them get maxed and dump mucho fuel, but never dead?

Wish I knew

When it sees the 2nd stage its like you unplug the MAF and it stops fueling from the MAF..... Not good

Weve done just about everythign possible with the dry stuff been pushing it as hard as anyone but its just not consistant enough with current stuff at the power level and fuel were moving. The wet stage is temporary so Wayne could get out and make a few passes for a change.

Never had much a problem before we started making the power we are now, ran both stages thru the maf for a while, but where we are at now its doing really odd stuff intermittantly dropping the MAF lb/min readings real low.

Working on a few more things and alternatives, trying to get Keith at HPTuners help in doing some stuff Id like to do, theres a relatively simple fix laying in there just trying to make it happen

Yep, I agree, said the same thing last night to a buddy. explained that he would be better off doing a return and reg at the rails, as he has a good Racetronics pump, but gets some lean spots from inadaqute fuel supply (he wanted to go BAP).
