Default wet or dry?

what nitrous kit is the safest kit to run a 75 or 100 shot without a tune or timing retard? Is a wet kit or a dry kit more reliable? This will be on a bone stock ls1, 1999 z28 m6

I prefer dry when possible; in my experience they cause fewer problems than wet kits. But I am sure lots of people will disagree with me.

Either kit can be as safe as the other when installed/maintained correctly. If your timing has not been advanced any, then either kit can be used safely; if the timing was advanced then you will want to take out what was added. There are benefits and drawbacks to each style (wet or dry) that have been covered pretty well on this forum; if you have any specific questions please ask. Also check out our wet & dry kits:

Now now Robert.............don't be biased! Just cause your Dry shot is quicker than my wet shot now don't mean it will be forever. I can spray 250shot if I want too.

Yeah right!!

IMO, they are both great. Tests have been done by some very intelegent people on this site and basically they find that both are equal.

Do some searching and you'll find some really great information.

Good luck and the local Vendors here will hook you up great! Not to mention that their customer service is second to none!
