Default 'Noid question, 4L60E question

Alright, first question. I'm running an NX NXL kit like in the pictures below. Dedicated fuel system blah blah blah... I DO NOT have the 'noids pictured as I didn't buy them from the guy. I have jets up to 250HP. What solonoids should I be looking at to take full advange of the available power? Next, I'm running this on my '96 Caprice, and I'm feeling that the transmission will be my limiting factor. That said, the transmission was replaced in 2003 @ 72,000 miles on the car, with a brand new GM unit while the sherriff's dept. still had the car. Now, it's got about 107,000 on the car, and I will be adding a transgo HD2 shift kit tommrow. How much do you think the transmission will handle? How much will the torque converter handle? I don't want a TC f-ing up on me either. Thanks guys!

thats pretty much what I run.

You will need NX propower solenoids
.125"Nitrous oriface
.310 fuel oriface

As far as your transmission goes, nobody can tell you how much it will take. Some break from stock motors while others seem do do fine with high torque numbers. For your reference, my 4l60, which is built, has been dealing with 700rwhp, and is doing fine.

Bingo. I know people that are running 9s on the 4L60E. A lot depends on how it was built. I've run many low-mid 11s on the completely stock tranny with a Yank converter.

My stocker ran with a 200 shot and a 4000 stall for more then 65000 miles with no problem, then one day while I was about to race I tried to manually shift it, then BOOM it blew the hell up. It's getting ebuilt right now, but I think youu should last, just don't manually shift it..

My 4L60E is hold up to 3800 lb race weight, in the 9's and 200 shot of nitrous, but it's built and not stock. Good luck.

Dont spray through the shifts and it will last longer.
I sprayed a 150 shot with the stock motor before I did a 6-speed, and it seemed to last.
It had over 100,000 on it. But I also drained the opan every oil change and the filter every other.
Maybe that helped, maybe not, but the tranny lasted.
Nice kit, looks a lot like the one Mike Harris had for sale.

It is, in fact, that's his car in the pictues. I bought most of what he had, now I just have to come with some odds and ends to get it up and running.
