nos controller and nx kit question

I have the nos 15835b controller and the nx 4150 plate setup 100-500. In the instructions nos wants you to use a redundant solenoid. It is a second solenoid for safety. I am guessing I just leave it disconnected.

That is correct. If you're not going to use a redundant solenoid then you won't hook anything up to the NOS2 terminal.
