Default Tough time starting after spraying

Hey folks, just came back with some great timeslips from the track lastnight! I was only runing the 1/8th to practice launching on the converter (spraying didn't work out of the hole on nittos, haha)

Question tho...After a run that I sprayed on, my car wouldn't start the next time. My friend was actually the one cranking it, so he stopped, put his foot down on the gas and cranked again, then did it again. Then it started just fine. His theory was that the car won't actually start if you have the pedal to the metal and by cranking it it'll get some extra nitrous out of the motor (as if there was nitrous in the motor before cranking!)

This happened again as I was leaving and my friend wasn't around. So I put my foot on the gas and cranked. It took a few turns, but then it started and gave a quick rev to 3 grand or so. The last pass, there was hardly any nitrous in the bottle at all and i had purged it out of the line with the car off after that run.

This has never happened to me before...is there a part that is going bad here?

going WOT puts the car in 'clear flood' mode. it sounds like you have a sticking fuel soleniod to me.

Your maf might have become frozen and caused your car to act this way. It's a common problem. After you spay it, look at the maf and see if the small wires are caked with frost.

If you have a timing tuner it will do it for some reason I think you need to reprogram it or something mines doing it too but I had it set up perfect about a week ago..

I'm running wet so I don't think it'd get to the MAF...I'll check next time anyway. I do not have a timing tuner either. I had this car tuned to run with the spray. It it possible that it is a solenoid failure of some sort?

low bottle pressure(almost empty)...the car runs rich and has fuel in the intake...you kill it and the car has alot of gas possibly to much to start?

that may make sense there....Those last two runs i was running out....so maybe it was just some kind of vapor lock. I'll have to try again when i get my bottle filled!

i asked my tuner about this when i got my car dynoed. he was saying that if you rev it a little bit before you shut down you should be ok. Ive noticed that if i rev it up a few times before i turn it off, it starts fine the next time. but if i shut it off w/o doing that, it will suck at starting and pop from the fuel.
