Default Solenoid not working?

I accidentally left my nitrous bottle on for about 3 weeks (I hardly ever drive my car) Now my system won't work- do you think my solenoid is broken because it had that pressure on it for that long?

What is your bottle pressure? Sometimes solenoids wont open if there is too much line pressure.

Yeah that what iwas thinking. Do you have a purge ? Usually mine would not purge if it was not spraying.

Yeah- the bottle has 300 or so PSI- I think I have minor leak somewhere.

Bleed the gas down, and make sure the solenoid is getting power... Let us know, and we can go from there...

You probably need a new plunger, leaving pressure on them that long will usually cause the plunger to swell.

I'm still getting n20 thru the line- wouldnt that mean that the plunger is alright?

You are getting nitrous through the solenoid? And if so is it only a small amount?

If it were bottle pressure it would have to be over 1000 PSI for it not to open. I would havet to agree on the plunger.

Drain all the nitrous out of the line have some one stand by the solinoid with a tiny screwdriver. Before he hits the activation switch see if there is any magnetic charge to the nut on the top, then have him activate it and hold it to see if the current gets stronger.
