anyone here have had a 1,2 7,8 piston melting problem using the NOS bigshot above 300hp jetting? I was warned this weekend by someone so just checking if anyone else experinced problems?

Where are you hurting the piston? Or are you just concerned that you may? The most common problem people have with that kit is running too much fuel pressure and or taking out too much timing which can lead to piston damage. The big Shot should only be running between 5.5-6 psi sometinmes a little less even and pulling out about 1.5 degrees per 50hp assuming you are useing something like C16.
