Default what bottle opener

I have a NOS bottle with the super hi flow valve and a zex bottle. Is there a remote bottle opener that works with both? Or will I have to change out the valve on the NOS bottle? Thanks.

I have a older style NOS opener now, but you need to manualy open the bottle before right? I want one of the newer ones where I can just flip the switch and the bottle is open or closed.

The NOS solenoid style opener should work on both bottles. Thats the one I have and I love it.

Our motor style opener (p/n 14168NOS) will work with any of our current full size valves including the Sniper medical valve. Measure the top of the valve on Zex bottle if it is 1.175-1.180" the 14168NOS will work.

How old is the NOS bottle?
Is the hand wheel on the top, on the back, or at a 45* angle to the valve?

If you want to use the solenoid style opener (p/n 16058NOS) on a medical style valve you will need a thread bushing adapter. Our part number is 16159NOS and it converts a type 326 thread to 660 threads.

Ok, now when you use one that mechanically opens what do you do when you go to get the bottle filled? Sorry if this question sounds ridiculous, but well I've never even went to get one filled normally, let alone with a opener on top. Trying to figure out what I want before I go installing stuff.

I wish I knew how old my NOS bottle is, its out in CA though, won't know til I go out and get it.

Ok looking at the HSW one, it has two options for bottle manufacture. Is this the deciding factor if it will work with certain brands? The zex bottle is a luxfer, I don't know about the NOS bottle. Or is it all in the valve itself??

the two options are...1) to work with their bottle 2) to work with every other style valve/bottle out there. but you can give Matt a call and he could direct you to which one would work for you.
