Default N2O issues - detonation

I haven't really sprayed my car much since the cam install in February/March, but did once or twice and it was fine. My fill is pretty old (~5-6 months), and the past few times I've sprayed, it's fine the first time, then after that when I spray it, it pops really bad out the exhaust and falls on its face.

My MSD timing is the same, and I changed my plugs (NGK-R 5671-A7s as per Lloyd Elliot's recommendation), gapped to .035. When I pulled the old plugs (Autolite 104's), it looked like cylinders #2 and #4 were the only ones showing significant signs of detonation. I pulled the intake off and sprayed with the nozzle pointing in the air, and it sprayed fuel all over the place, so I know it's getting fuel...'

Is it possible that my fill went stale or something? Or does it just sound like it's not getting enough fuel?

BTW, this is on a 100 shot, jetted to NX specs. I have a Walbro 255 fuel pump as well.

Thanks for reading, all help is appreciated! I wanna have some fun with this thing!

what makes you say there was detonation? What did the plugs look like.

Really it just sounds like your out of nitrous. best thing to do is pull the bottle and weigh it. The empty weight should be on the bottle somewhere.

If it sat for 4-5 months good chance it leaked out.

There's nitrous...I can tell by purging. And I ran it with the bottle closed and activated the nitrous, and it fell on its face, but no popping (another way I know it's getting fuel).

Did you go over everything I told you to check yet? Also, real easy way to tell if something is up with the nitrous, empty the damn bottle and get it refilled and try again, I mean c'mon dude, what's it $30 bux, rule it out already ya little fairy! JMWY dude, gimme a call later and let me know what you've found so far and see if we can narrow it down.

Completely empty bottle, go refill bottle, hook up scanner, log for knock while spraying.

Damn those plugs look nasty. I had a set of TR55's glaze over like that on me it made the car run like ****. I have no idea what caused it on me its before I was on spray, and I just put them in and they glazed over on me instantly. Did a plug change and they were fine from there. Now I'm running TR6's without any problems. Put in some new TR6's and see if that fixes it.

Did you shut the car off right after you made a pass? IF you idled it or drove it any it won't give an accurate reading.

I drove the car about a mile home after spraying.

I thought that only makes a difference with the middle-upper parts of the porcelain if you drive it afterwards?

OK I put the 103s in gapped at .035, and retarded timing 6 degrees instead of 2, and got the same ****.

Try switching to TR6's. What is the AFR at WOT? You might just be leaning out too much.
