Default leaving pressure in line

Is it ok to leave pressure in the line? Like when I get home for the night and the valve is closed or should I purge it? Is this bad pressure on the noids

I would say purge it out. It only takes like a second to push the purge button. I wouldn't want that pressure on my noid overnight. I have seen some say its ok, but not to do it all the time & some say don't do it cause it could damage the noid from the constant pressure for that length of time.

if you dont have a purge, you can just unscrew the feed line, its not much but i think it would screw up your noids if you did it alot

I purge mine as soon as I close the bottle valve. I have a friend that blew 2 feed lines because he didnt purge the line after use and the heat from the engine raised the pressure in the line. The pressure had to go somewhere, glad for him it didnt push past the solenoids.

someone at my wifes work told her about this cause it happened to him. apparently he left the bottle open over night. the next day he went to start his car, and blew the motor cause the noid failed and opened and let the nitrous into the motor. ill pay an extra dollar or 2 cause i let the nitrous out rather than buy a new engine

It is hard on the plungers to leave pressure on them for long periods of time. Bleeding the pressure off will extend the life of the solenoid. Pressure leaves an imprint of the seat in the plunger.
