So me spraying the 125 shot seems to be a breeze! That's absolutely insane for a stock motor! I guess I could even step it up to a 150 shot for some cases! Or maybe just all cases! hahahaha

Thanks a lot everyone! Keep all the votes/replies coming!

I can believe how many stock bottom ends are spraying 200 shots. Ive been freaked out about trying it. I talked to tnt and they said its a big no no at sea level with heads and cam cars. Who is spraying a single stage 200 shot? How much total advance are you running?

all about progressive control. If you have the right system and tuning, you can make 600whp+ ..... I juts hit mine w/ a 150 and made 446whp / 493wtq w/ just catback and spray.

I am on stock timing and currently at 250rwhp combined shot. However, the Z06 comes with lower timing from the factory. It's is common for most in the nitrous field to reccomend that no timing pull is needed with stock timing on shots to 150, and using the highest octane pimp gas available. Now I allways additionally rec that logging for kr and a/f be done regardless, as this is the only absolute way to know if your car is fine. I think the general rule to pull this amount of timing for this amount of hit, is just a safety blanket thing to cover all, including the aftermarket tunes that have added timing.

Having a stand alone fuel system for your kit will help you spray more and be safe. I put down 523 rwhp on a 75 shot. I can't spray more till I get a stand alone kit for my NOS kit. 600rwhp seems to be the limit of our fuel system . I have a racetronics fuel pump,42lb.s injectors , regulator and return line, FAST fuel rails and still maxed it out and burnt a valve when I tryed to spray more than a 75 shot.

Sorry this happened to you, but it does show why being safe and checking your parameters as you go bigger is a good idea. I am at 550rwhp and no end in site to my fuel system (same set-up as above basically). Haven't seen past 80% duty cycle, no drop in pressure at highest demand, no lean spike and a very rich a/f. Now where will my system start to fall off, no real way to tell except to log/monitor as I increase n2o shot. I plan on going to at least 600rwhp.

My cousins stock bottom ed is getting 225 and my bros 150. if you put a 2nd stage on it and hit it after peak tq the cylander pressure will be down enough to hit a 2nd stage. we use a wet /dry 2 stage setup round here.

I'm going with a NXL direct port kit (jetting for 80hp)
want to keep it safe
I'm not so worried about the engine, but the drive train,
with my other mods (being done at the same time) I'm pushing the limmits of my drive shaft, rear end, and cv joints (that's why I'm sticking with a stock clutch

over all, I am expecting to be pushing about 500rwhp
in a 2005 gto

Damn.....My tuner has mine set up to go from 28* n/a to 18* on a 150 shot......I may need to add back a little bit.....

I wonder what the power difference would be adding a little timing and getting the a/f around 11.8 on the spray other than 10.8-11.0 like it is now....

I'm spraying 150 shot on my stock bottom end, but I'm making around 550hp on spray. So I think I'm kinda pushing the limits of the stock bottom end.

I want to go for 600rwhp on a stock bottom end and hope it'll hold up. I think that much power on the stock piston/conecting rods is asking for disaster.
