What ever the manufacture of your kit rec. two bottles just add volume, you still run the same pressure.

Run one bottle with a push system...

2 bottles????

1 bottle.

1stg goes active at lets say 1000, (example only)

second stage also needs 1000psi.

but the second stage will only be activated once in 3rd gear.
first stage should have some sort of pressure drop correct?

see where im going with this?
should i not be concerned? put the btl at 1050 and just go at it. hahaha

Bird: if your gonna be around friday or sat i'd like to stop by and pick the DS.

I have the day off on Friday. Saturday im leaving at 1pm for OKC street race.

I do see where you are going with this...But like I was getting to. There are guys with one bottle on 3 stages!!! Push systems works and are far more consistent then you would think.
My real problem with that setup is in 3rd gear you might pick up 2-3 mph...

Run all 200 at once, with a progressive controller if you are worried about traction and breaking parts.

Well, trying to compansate for the dropping pressure of the 1st stage, by upping the 2nd stage would be tricky. Unless you started with new bottles each time you would not be consistant. I think the best way is just ensure you have the volume to minimize pressure drop, then heat back up to original pressure for next run. I really have no experiance running two different pressures on the same system. the push system might be ok if your track will allow, my tracks would be all over it and not allow.

thanks robert.

both stages need 1000psi.

my concern was once stage one is running (out of the hole)
then by the time im in 3rd gear for stage 2 would i be loosing to much pressure to really get the full hit im looking for.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you go really rich? then consider using a 15lb bottle. If it were mine, I would use both bottles to supply 1st stage, then when 2nd stg comes in on 3rd gear, it'll use very little of total volume used, and 1st stg will have it's volume needs met.

Unfortunately jetting will be custom as well...You wont be able to run the 2nd hit with the jet settings that Joe Schmoe says will make 100 hp...You will have to take a fuel pill down a few sizes to compensate for the loss in bottle pressure...

Its really a pain to keep two bottles at equal pressure as well. Been there done that. The ultimate setup to maintain consistency is again, the nitrogen push systems.
