although i'm ls1, i'm in the same boat. stock crank, scat rods, forged pistons. i'm most likely gonna throw a 200 shot at it so if we blow up with that, at least we won't be alone.....

Just watch out for leaning out on the top end, may need a return/reg at the rails. I run 22* of timing and 104 trick gas with tr6 at .035 and runs great and racetronics pump/reg-return at rails.

the 97-98 vettes came with the regualtor mounted at the front of the car vs. at the back of the car. so robert converted his fuel system. robert, do you run a BAP?

No bap, and running a 250rwhp currently. The return and the regulator is at the fuel tank in our cars. This leads to fuel supply issues for some of us (check current thread with dyno sheet) at high demand areas. the reason is, say you have a nasty lean spike, what's happening is your pulling more from the rail faster than it can refill. This is because by the time the reg at the tank reads drop in pressure and re regulates you've gone lean. Now if you do this at the rails, then you have max pressure and supply right there and when rails need refilling they are refilled instantly rather than having a lag time. This scenerio also can happen at the top end high demand area and cause leaning out of higher rpms. Cured all my problems.
