Default some results on the black car

i did each kit seperately to see how they did. 100 dry, 100 wet and 150 wet. then, i did the 100 dry and the 150 wet together with the 150 wet coming on at 3900 rpms.

list of mods:
SLP airlid
K/N filter
autolite 103 plugs .035 gap
gutted cats
Bassani tru-duals
Yank PY3400E
3.73 gears
18x9.5 factory C5 wheels with 285/35-18 tires
factory fuel system

NA vs 100 dry. placement of the dry nozzle made this only achieve 65 rwhp. fuel pressure dropped 4 psi.


NA vs 100 wet. this is the first time i ever got more than what the jet chart rates the given jetting. got 123 rwhp out of it. fuel pressure dropped 4 psi.



NA vs 150 wet. got 152 rwhp out of a 150. fuel pressure dropped about 10 psi by the end of the run. starting to see a problem here.



NA vs 100 dry and 150 wet. 100 dry at the beginning of the run at 3200 rpms and the 150 wet on at 3900 rpms. fuel pressure dropped 15 psi before the end of the run and aborted. end result, factory fuel pump is giving out. the drop wasn't slow either. 192 rwhp out of a rated 250 shot. with a better fuel pump and getting to peak rpms, i'll most likely get real close to the 250 rwhp mark.

which is why i shut it down on the two stage run early. fuel pressure was at 45 psi and steadily dropping. picked up walbro 255 today. will put in next week.

mixture of mainly ny-trex and compucar solenoids with NX SHO nozzle on the big side and ny-trex nozzle on the small side.

Reading this thread and the dry vs wet thread I have seen an issue. Where is your torque at? At 193rwhp shot you get only 177lb ft of torque. My 170rwhp dry hit gives me over 300lb ft of torque over n/a, or a 636rwtq reading. There is no torque spike at all on any of the dynos?

i'll give you a hint. i started all runs at 3200 rpms. where does the rpms on the graph start recording at? also, where do you get a 177 lbs-ft reading? i get 193 rwtq at peak 476 - 283 = 193.

on the dual stage i started the run at 3200 rpms with the 100 dry on. at 3900 rpms, the 150 wet came on. you see it didn't start recording the run until 4000 rpms. gotta love winpep7. this dynojet is a 224. 2 drums 24" diameter. most people run on the 248 2 drums 48" diameter. with windows based dynojet software, if the inputs don't math the programming, it tosses out the data until it starts to agree. next time i get on, i'll use the inertia load. i was on no braking just like most of the dynojets out there have.

funny thing about the inertia loading on the dynojet. every car we had at the dyno day that we compared unloaded to loaded, the loaded numbers were higher. really weird. one car was 317 unloaded and 342 loaded.

Sorry on the numbers, I even used a calc? Torque still seems low to me. Yea, the winpep7 sucks, but a few guys around here still think it's great. Regardless, the torque peak is just slightly greater than peak HP, you think that's all dyno? Not trying to bust your *****, just trying to figure the discreptancy out.

missing the readings from 3200 to 4000, we don't get to see the first stage come on like we do in some of your graphs. when the dry kit comes on, it feels pretty good when it hits. even at 65 rwhp.

i could get on vinci's dyno, which is still the original DOS based program. unfortunately, it doesn't graph a/f, which everyone is mainly concerned about.
