what pistons can handle mega shots? hi guys i have an slp 402 alum. block, so we port pulish it to 408 and i have
4.000" Callies 4340 forged steel crankshaft, balanced to rotating assembly
6.125" SLP/Manley 4340 forged steel H-beam rods
now i want to add 600 to 1000 hp shots on this block
so what are the pistons that i must use? not that i want to go high comp
the car will be for drag rac only i think i will use an f body
i know about fueling rare end trans. susp. but i need to know what pistons?

ok i alrady have the block but any ideas for my goal about a block so i can sell that one and get another

gtwin turbo 300 shot? i think you need to do some homework, no way a gto can handle all that and use it. a stock gto with a 300 on a progressive is enough
