Default Instead of window switch?

Was wondering if the switched used for TCS or convertible top can be used instead? I'm thinking of ordering the plate and switch, so it looks as though I have TCS. Anyone have it set up this way?

If I remember corectly, everytime you turn on the car, the TCS will come on. So, you have to turn it off manually everytime you start the car.. So, I would assume it would be the same way and your N20 would be armed everytime you start the car.

Just get the same size/style switch and mount it in there..

You can use those switches IF you disconnect them from doing what they are supposed to do as long as you're running a relay. The TCS switch is not a high current switch. It's very minimal actually. The conv. top switch would be better but here again, you have to disconnect it from operating the top. Then put in another switch for the top.

Edit: I guess I kinda misunderstood the original post. Got confused. "make it LOOK like you have TCS".. ok but no, that switch has a pcb under it and is very low current however if you put a micro switch there under the button, then yes, it would look like TCS and yes, you could use that. I'm sure the parts can be found at a bone yard. Same goes for the conv. top switch.
